My name is Mrs. Christi Babb.  I teach English 12 and 11th grade Principles of Literature
I am excited for the 2015/2016 school year!
English 12: Seniors in this class will be working toward building writing and communication skills they will utilize in their near future, whether they are preparing for college, trade school, the work force or the Military.  We start the year by setting goals and continue the year by working towards them with assignments, activities, projects, etc. to help students prepare for their futures.
Principles of Literature:  Juniors in this class will review material and prepare to retake the Keystone Literature Exam.  Retakes for this exam are scheduled for January.  Therefore for the first semester, students will be strengthening skills they will need to take the test.  The second semester, students will sign on and begin the state project for Keystone completion - the project is divided into sections that need to be successfully mastered in order to move on to the next.  Students will be working diligently to complete the state project by the end of our second semester.
I am also the advisor for Senior High Student Council.  For this, I am also excited about the 2015/2016 school year.   If your child is in 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade and would like to join our Student Council Club, please have them see me!  We would love to have them get involved!!
