I have enjoyed teaching at Hughesville High School for the last twelve years with the Life Skill students. When the school doors open this fall I will welcome my students into my class at Ashkar Elementary. I will be teaching the primary life skill students in grades first through third. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Mansfield State College in 1983. I taught fourteen years in public education working with special needs children in Georgia. I relocated back home in 1998 and continued with my teaching career with East Lycoming School District. I obtained my Master of Special Education from Mansfield University in 2003. I am a graduate of South Williamsport Area Junior Senior High School. I am married and have two sons serving in the military. My son Sergio II is a 2nd Lt. in the Marines and is stationed at Quantico, VA. My son Christopher is an E-4 stationed at Fort Drum, NY. My daughter Elizabeth is in the process of entering the officer's candidacy program for the US NAVY. I enjoy taking walks with my dog I adopted from a soldier who was being deployed. My dogs name is Bella. Recently I have gained responsibility of a kitten named Humphrey and a gerbil named Q-Bone while my daughter is in her training. I can be reached by calling the elementary school at 584-5121. If it is an urgent call then ask to speak to me directly. If not then ask for the call to be placed on my voicemail. I stay after school most days until 4:00. If you would like to request a meeting please feel free to call and set one up.
