Welcome to Mrs. Warg's Health and Physical Education web site. This site is designed to better inform students and/or parents of our curriculum and class expectations. The following is a list of courses that I currently teach:
Senior High Physical Education The goal of senior high physical education is to promote life-long activities among our student body. Activities are self-chosen to encourage students to interact in physical activity which they enjoy and plan on pursuing throughout their adult lives. The department will soon be implementing the new Fitness Center in our program. The Fitness Center will give students the opportunity to use treadmills, steppers, etc. during their physical education period. Junior High Physical Education The goal of Junior High Physical Education is to provide students with the knowledge that enables them to achieve and maintain a physically active and healthful life. Students will be introduced to various sporting and life-long activities geared to fulfill current and future fitness requirements. Students will learn the basics of swimming, tennis, soccer, flag football, basketball, volleyball, fitness center, and track and field. Other activites may be offered depending upon time and interest. Some of these activities may include; lacrosse, floor hockey, aerobics, medicine ball activities, ect.
